After several days of intensive cleaning, restoration, securing, restarting, system functionality checks, and internal reorganization, the entire team at Madagascar International Container Terminal Services Ltd. is pleased to announce that all conditions are now met to resume all our services.
Therefore, in consultation with customs and port authorities, we are pleased to inform you of the resumption of all our operations starting this Monday, February 16, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.
To help you plan accordingly, an exceptional extension of the free storage period is granted for imports already cleared through customs and covered by valid "Gate Passes" until February 10, 2026, and during the days when Container Terminal was closed due to Cyclone Gezani. The concerned receivers can therefore proceed directly with the collection of their containers until February 19, 2026 inclusive.
