To earn every single day the confidence of all stakeholders, Madagascar International Container Terminal Services Ltd. has established this policy to be in line with its management principles. For us, they are a valuable tool on which we rely in our continuous improvement approach, both on quality and environmental aspects.

Mindful of the importance of our organization within the Port of Toamasina, MICTSL develops its actions in a balanced perspective between economic, social and environmental aspects relating to its activities.

Our policy is based on multiple axes of orientation:

      • Keeping at all time under control its environmental aspects and respect for the surrounding community;
      • Preventing any kind of pollution including marine spills, ground spills, air and noise emissions;
      • Responsibly managing its waste;
      • Keeping under effective control its energy consumption;
    • - Ensure administrative files are processed within reasonable delay;
    • - Reduce to minimum truck turnaround time;
    • - Make sure to provide high discharging and loading operations performance to minimize vessel call duration;
    • - Prevent from any event which might be detrimental to Health, Safety and Security.
