MICTSL (Madagascar International Container Terminal Services Limited) is a private Malagasy company created in 2005 to manage the Toamasina container terminal.
MICTSL took over the management of the container terminal on October 17, 2005 and took on the challenge of modernizing the port of Toamasina in close collaboration with the port authority, the Société du Port à gestion Autonome de Toamasina.

Subsidiary of the ICTSI group based in the Philippines, specializing in the development and management of ports and container terminals throughout the world, MICTSL ensures the disembarkation, the embarkation, the reception, the delivery, handling and storage of containers at the port of Toamasina.

The port of Toamasina is still considered the main gateway to Madagascar with long-haul ships calling there regularly, allowing importers and exporters to promote their trade with international partners; thus, all types of goods pass through it: raw materials, mining products, basic necessities, construction materials, household appliances, agro-food products, etc.

The concession of Terminal A Containers by the Malagasy government, which led to the creation of MICTSL, is a real Public-Private Partnership whose effects have been felt by port users , economic operators and even the population of Toamasina in general (through projects and achievements in collaboration with the port authority, the Atsinanana region and the town hall of Toamasina I). ​​

The improvement of port infrastructures, constantly evolving performance, the acquisition of equipment and systems at the cutting edge of technology have forged the reputation of the port of Toamasina, through the Container Terminal, in the international maritime industry.
