The port of Toamasina is still considered as the main gateway to Madagascar with regular calls of deep sea vessels, enabling importers and exporters to promote their trade with international partners ; therefore, all type of commodities are transiting through this port : raw materials, mining products, household appliances, building materials, agro-food products, etc.
